Purr-fect Cat Therapy Four- Legged Battle Buddy program is only for Military Veteran looking for a quality hypoallergenic companion cat. If you are looking or qualify for a trained Emotional Support Animal and suffer from PTSD. Please visit: Purr-fect Cat Healing Vets Program. veterans must have received an Honorable discharge.
Individuals convicted of a felony, sexual offense of any kind and/or any type of animal mistreatment, abuse, neglect or cruelty are ineligible.
In order to qualify for our Purr-fect Cat Four Legged Battle Buddy Program applicant must:
- Program participants must be veterans of the United States Military
Upon receipt of the fully completed application, documentations, phone screening and the in-home interview, we will evaluate your candidacy. Once accepted, you will be contacted by Purr-fect Cat Therapy staff to discuss the next steps. If your acceptance is denied, you will receive written notice of the decision within 2 weeks. Please note that the application process can take up to several months, In the meantime, if you experience a change in your contact information, please advise us as soon as possible so that we may keep your information current. We currently have no available cats in the program but expect our first kittens to be born toward the end of 2018.
